Anik Stucki was born in 1991 in Bern. He studied at the Bern University of the Arts, at the Lucerne School of Music and most recently at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he graduated with a chamber music master’s degree. During his studies, Anik has won numerous awards, including the Bessie Spence Prize for Violin 2018, the 2nd Prize in the Walter Prize Inc. the Hilda Bailey Prize for Violin 2018 and the Hilda Bailey Prize for Violin 2017.

In the summer of 2018, Anik was the soloist to perform the Violin Concerto No.1 by Dmitri Shostakovich with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. In addition, Anik occasionally plays the New Generation Festival and Chaarts as a newcomer, and has been involved in projects with the Scottish Ensemble, the Royal National Orchestra of Scotland and the Hebrides Ensemble through the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
